Enemy makes no advances in Malynivka area, Zaporizhzhia – DF spox

Russian troops have not advanced in the Malynivka area in the Zaporizhzhia direction.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported on television by Vladislav Voloshyn, spokesman for the Southern Defense Forces.

"This settlement is located in the Huliaypole direction, and for about a week now, there have been quite fierce battles there. As for whether the enemy is advancing, I would not say so. Not because Deep State is wrong there, but because the line of combat is a rather dynamic phenomenon. The Ukrainian Defense Forces are conducting a defensive operation, but it is not a positional defense, where we hold certain positions and stand our ground, but rather we are constantly maneuvering," Voloshin said.

He noted that the enemy's tactics involve massive air strikes using guided bombs, unguided missiles, and artillery on specific positions.

"It actually destroys it when there are no fortifications, no shelters, when there are virtually no surviving walls or cellars or basements. And so the enemy tries to enter such a position and consolidate it. But the Ukrainian Defense Forces do not allow him to consolidate such positions. We destroy them. And so it is considered that he has no advance. ... Regarding Malynivka, in particular, I will repeat that the enemy has no advances there," Voloshyn added.

Earlier, the DeepState project reported that Russian troops had advanced in Malynivka, Zaporizhzhia region.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported another successful operation that blocked Russian logistics in the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia region.
