Kharkiv attack toll rises to nine, pregnant woman among victims

Nine civilians, including a pregnant woman, were injured as a result of a Russian drone strike on Kharkiv.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by Mayor Ihor Terekhov on Telegram.

“Three people were injured as a result of the drone strike on Kharkiv, including a 13-year-old girl and a man in his late 70s,” the report said.

“Currently, three people are known to have been injured as a result of a massive night attack on Kharkiv, including a 17-year-old girl, a 79-year-old man, and a 74-year-old woman,” said Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, at 1:47 a.m.

Medical personnel are providing all necessary assistance to the victims.

“In the Slobidskyi district of Kharkiv, the number of victims has risen to four as a result of enemy UAV strikes. Among them is a pregnant woman,” Syniehubov added later.

“The number of victims continues to grow. There are now nine,” Terekhov reported at 2:00 a.m.

As reported by Ukrinform, Russian troops launched a combined strike on Kharkiv on the night of June 5. There are wounded, apartments and cars near houses are on fire.
