
Russian drone drops explosives in Kherson region, man killed, woman wounded
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.
“The occupiers dropped explosives from a drone in the village of Veletenske. As a result of the attack, a 70-year-old man was killed and an 83-year-old woman was wounded,” the report said.
As the prosecutor's office recalled, a 49-year-old man was killed in the morning as a result of a drone strike on the village of Antonivka. Two other men, aged 57 and 78, and a 53-year-old woman suffered shrapnel wounds. In addition, residential buildings were damaged in the regional center as a result of artillery shelling. A 75-year-old woman and a 53-year-old man were injured.
Under the procedural guidance of the Kherson region prosecutor's office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into violations of the laws and customs of war (Parts 1 and 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, on June 4, 2025, the Russian Armed Forces shelled settlements in the Kherson region using drones, artillery, multiple launch rocket systems, and mortars.
As reported by Ukrinform, a 49-year-old local resident was killed in the Dnipro district of Kherson as a result of an attack by a Russian drone. A 53-year-old woman was hit by the enemy drone. The victim suffered a mine-blast injury and multiple wounds to her body and was taken to hospital.
In Kherson, two civilians, a 75-year-old woman and a 53-year-old man, were wounded as a result of shelling by Russian troops in the Dnipro district.
