Russians attack Dnipropetrovsk region, two police officers injured

Russian forces launched attacks using drones and Grad multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) at Nikopol, Synelnykove, and Dnipro districts of Dnipropetrovsk region. Two police officers were injured.

This was reported on Telegram by Serhii Lysak, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, according to Ukrinform.

“The enemy struck with drones Novopavlivka community in Synelnykove district in the evening. Two police officers were injured,” the message reads.

Throughout the night, Russian forces shelled Nikopol district with Grad MLRS, firing 40 rockets at the district center. A fire broke out, which has since been extinguished.

The attack damaged three businesses, two apartment buildings, and two private homes.

In the morning, Marhanets and Pokrovske communities were targeted. The enemy used FPV drones and opened artillery fire, Lysak added.

Additionally, overnight, the enemy launched Shahed drones at the region. As a result of the attack in Dnipro district, an agricultural enterprise was damaged, and a fire broke out, which was extinguished by emergency services.

Lysak also reported that Ukrainian air defense forces shot down three drones over the region overnight.
