Russian drones strike military hospital in Kharkiv – General Staff

A military hospital and nearby residential buildings in Kharkiv were damaged by a Russian drone attack.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

"Late on March 29, once again cynically violating the norms of international humanitarian law, Russian terrorists struck a military hospital in the city of Kharkiv. As a result of the Shahed drone strike, the hospital building and nearby residential houses were damaged," the statement reads.

According to preliminary information, there are injured military personnel who were receiving treatment at the medical center.

"The deliberate, targeted shelling of a Ukrainian medical facility by Russian forces adds to the long list of vile and cynical war crimes committed by Russians since the beginning of their unprovoked invasion of Ukraine," the General Staff declared.

They emphasized that war crimes have no statute of limitations.

The Ukrainian military added that the evidence of this attack would be handed over to international criminal justice bodies.
