Russian army loses another 1,740 soldiers in Ukraine in past day

Russia’s casualty toll in Ukraine since the large-scale invasion has gone up to nearly 912,490, including 1,740 killed or wounded in the past 24 hours.

That’s according to an update by the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, Ukrinform reports.

The Defense Forces have also destroyed 10,478 Russian tanks (+23 in the past day), 21,796 (+34) armored fighting vehicles, 25,451 (+64) artillery systems, 1,345 (+1) MLR systems, 1,122 (+3) air defense systems, 370 warplanes, 335 helicopters, 31,234 (+164) operational and tactical-level UAVs, 3,121 cruise missiles, 28 warships/cutters, a submarine, 42,398 (+118) vehicles and fuel tankers, and 3,787 units of specialized equipment.

The latest reports on enemy losses are being verified.

As Ukrinform wrote earlier, on March 28, as of 22:00 Kyiv time, the dail war report said there had been 157 combat clashes between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian invaders at the front lines.
