Russia’s casualty toll in Ukraine up by 1,140 in past day

The total combat casualties suffered by the Russian invasion force as of March 6 have been estimated at 881,800, including 1,140 killed or wounded in the past 24 hours.

That’s according to the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, Ukrinform reports.

Also, Ukraine’s Defense Forces have destroyed 10,261 Russian tanks (+5 in the past day), 21,311 (+7) armored fighting vehicles, 24,108 (+21) artillery systems, 1,306 MLR systems, 1,096 (+2) air defense systems, 370 warplanes, 331 helicopters, 27,929 (+80) UAVs, 3,085 cruise missiles, 28 warships, a submarine, 39,606 (+94) vehicles and fuel tankers, and​​ 3,769 units of specialized equipment.

The latest reports on enemy losses are being verified.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron announced a meeting in Paris next week of the chiefs of staff of nations that are willing to assume responsibility for implementing the plan for a strong and lasting peace drafted together with the Ukrainians.
