Strike on energy facility in Odesa: boilers restored, emergency power outages in parts of city

On March 3, a Russian attack damaged an energy facility in Odesa. Energy workers have already restored power to critical infrastructure.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by DTEK Group on Telegram.

"The enemy continues its energy terror of Odesa region. On March 3, a DTEK energy facility was damaged," the statement said.

By the morning of March 4, energy workers had restored power to critical infrastructure and reconnected electricity for 7,000 households.

According to Oleh Kiper, Head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, parts of the city are experiencing emergency power outages.

"Emergency outages continue in some areas. Energy workers are tirelessly working on restoration," Kiper wrote on Telegram.

Kiper stated that critical infrastructure and heating systems are operating normally, and boilers have been powered up. Emergency "points of invincibility" are also operational.

As previously reported, Russia attacked Odesa with strike drones, damaging critical infrastructure and residential buildings. Several fires broke out in multiple locations.

As a result of the attack, four people were injured in Odesa.
