Russian attacks leave 163 Kharkiv houses damaged in February - mayor

Russian troops have damaged 163 houses across the city of Kharkiv throughout February.

This was reported on Telegram by Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov, Ukrinform reports.

"In total, Russian troops hit 163 houses, and in just one day, February 28, a significant part of them was destroyed," the statement says.

The mayor added that 2,259 windows were shattered, however, as of now, more than 80% of them have already been sealed, and the rest - the consequences of the latest shelling - will be sealed by utility workers by the end of this evening.

"Thirty-seven roofs were destroyed. And yet, 14 roofs have already been restored or are in the process of being repaired," Terekhov reports.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, heat supply has been restored in Kharkiv to buildings that were damaged as a result of the Russian attack.
