The Russian military shelled Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region with heavy artillery, killing two people and injuring another one.

Serhiy Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

“People were killed in Nikopol. Russians killed two men by shelling the city with heavy artillery,” he wrote.

As a result of the attack, industrial and private companies, cafes, shops, garages and cars in the city were damaged. One private house was damaged. A fire broke out and was quickly extinguished by rescuers.

As reported, on the night of February 20, the enemy attacked the region’s Marhanets, Myrove and Pokrovsk communities.
