In the United Kingdom, instructors from Norway’s ELLISEV training operation are training Ukrainian military personnel to overcome a psychological obstacle course.

As reported by Ukrinform, General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) shared details on Facebook.

During the training, which is part of the multinational INTERFLEX operation, Ukrainian defenders, under the guidance of Norwegian Home Guard specialists, practice to overcome a challenging obstacle course that simulates real combat conditions.

The course tests soldiers' endurance, tactical skills, and ability to make quick decisions. The main stages include: moving through smoke and pyrotechnic barriers, overcoming water-based mine obstacles, crossing open terrain under fire, wading through mud and rescuing a wounded comrade, forest combat and crossing a road under smoke cover, drone attack simulation, followed by an evacuation mission.

At the finish line, Norwegian instructors provide feedback and assess the soldiers' performance.

As previously reported, the ELLISEV operation represents Norway’s military support for Ukraine, named after Elisaveta, the eldest daughter of Prince Yaroslav the Wise, who married King Harald Hardrada and became Queen of Norway.

The INTERFLEX operation is a UK-led multinational training program aimed at preparing Ukrainian troops with little or no prior military experience.
