Kremlin mouthpieces: Data on five more Russians justifying war against Ukraine released
According to Ukrinform, the HUR reported this on Facebook.
The "Kremlin Mouthpieces" section of the War&Sanctions portal now features information on five Russian bloggers, war correspondents, and other public figures who take part in Russian disinformation campaigns designed to justify the war against Ukraine and discredit the Ukrainian army.
HUR stressed that the latest group of individuals demonstrates the systematic and coordinated nature of Russia's propaganda efforts at the state level.
Among those included in the update are:
- Russian film director Vladimir Agranovich, who received state grants to produce propaganda materials about Donbas and was awarded for cultural activities in the so-called "new territories";
- Sergei Kolyasnikov, a member of the blogger council under Russia's State Duma, author of a Telegram channel, and commentator for Lenta.ru, Gazeta.Ru, and RIA Novosti;
- Russian public figure and lawyer Stalina Gurevich, an expert at NGO Monitoring Center for Detecting Dangerous and Prohibited Content.
"Russian agents of influence and propaganda voices must be blocked worldwide. Together with the Center for Countering Disinformation, HUR calls on democratic countries to take decisive action against Russia's 'propaganda troops,' including imposing personal sanctions, blocking public and financial activities, banning entry, and fully cutting off any cooperation with those who support the war through their messaging," the post reads.
In February, the War&Sanctions portal published data on ten more Russian public figures who support Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine, including artists, journalists, writers, and media personalities who systematically promote Kremlin narratives and legitimize war crimes.
