The Russian Federation has prepared resources for renewed strikes on Ukraine using its strategic aviation airfields.

This is according to Andrii Kovalenko, Head of Ukraine's Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) at the National Security and Defense Council, who reported this on Telegram, as cited by Ukrinform.

"The enemy, unfortunately, remains consistent in its tactics and has prepared resources for new strikes on Ukraine at its strategic aviation airfields," Kovalenko stated.

He emphasized that stopping these attacks requires decisive economic and military pressure on Moscow.

"Only through force — by physically destroying Russia’s military capabilities — or through economic restrictions that limit Russia's ability to conduct terrorist attacks, can we halt these strikes," he said.

As reported by Ukrinform, following the recent signing of a security guarantees agreement for the Union State of Belarus and Russia in Minsk, Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko requested additional Russian weapons systems, including the Oreshnik system, to be deployed in Belarus.
