Enemy shells Kupiansk in morning, man injured
The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, reported this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
“July 30, 6:40 a.m., Kupiansk district, Kupiansk. A 71-year-old man was injured as a result of shelling and hospitalized,” the message reads.
According to Syniehubov, on July 29, a private house caught fire in Pershotravneve village, Izium district, as a result of an FPV drone hit, and outbuildings were damaged.
Also, in Lozova village, Chuhuiv district, four private houses and nine outbuildings were destroyed by shelling, and 13 private houses and 17 outbuildings were damaged.
In Khatne village of Kupiansk district, a private house was damaged by shelling.
In addition, eight houses and a car were damaged in Lozova village of Chuhuiv district as a result of shelling by the militants.
According to Syniehubov, five combat engagements took place in the Kharkiv sector in the vicinity of Hlyboke and Vovchansk.
In the Kupiansk sector, the number of attacks increased to six over the day. Defense forces repelled Russian army assaults near Novoosynove, Pishchane and Stelmakhivka.
As reported, on the night of Monday, July 29, Russian troops struck Kupiansk, Kharkiv region, with guided bombs, damaging private houses.
