Intelligence shows how two large Russian landing ships were hit in Crimea

On the night of April 19, Prymary struck two ships — the Project 775 large landing ship Yamal and the Project 1171 large landing ship Nikolai Filchenkov.

At the time of the strike, the ships, which belong to Russia’s Black Sea Fleet, were in Sevastopol Bay.

The Project 775 Yamal is a ship built in 1988, 112.5 meters long, capable of carrying up to 500 tonnes of cargo, including armored vehicles and troops. Its estimated value exceeds $80 million.

The Project 1171 Nikolai Filchenkov is a ship built in 1975 with a carrying capacity of up to 1,000 tons, allowing it to transport dozens of armored vehicles and a large landing force. Its estimated value exceeds $70 million.

Both ships, which Russia used in its war against Ukraine, have been put out of action.

As part of the operation in temporarily occupied Sevastopol, intelligence officers also destroyed an enemy radar station Podlyot-K1. The estimated value of the radar system is about $5 million.

As reported by Ukrinform, fighters of the Security Service of Ukraine’s Alpha Special Operations Center also struck three Russian military ships in Crimea: the large landing ship Yamal, the large landing ship Azov, and a military vessel of an unspecified type.

There is also information about the possible damage to a Project 21980 Grachonok anti-sabotage boat.
