Estonia joins international effort to train Ukrainian recruits

The Ministry of Defense of Estonia said it had joined Operation Interflex for the training of the Ukrainian military.

That’s according to the ministry’s posting on X, seen by Ukrinform.

"Today at Ramstein, Estonia announced joining the UK-led training Operation Interflex," the Ministry of Defense said on Tuesday.

It is noted that thanks to Operation Interflex, more than 34,000 Ukrainian recruits have already acquired the necessary skills for conducting front-line combat operations.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, on Tuesday, U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Charles Brown hosted the 18th virtual meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group. More than 50 delegations took part in the meeting.
