
Over 100 Ukrainian settlements subjected to Russian shelling in one day - President
That’s according to President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.
"In one day, Russian inhumans shelled more than a hundred cities, towns, and villages in nine regions: from Chernihiv region to Sumy region, Mykolaiv region, Kirovohrad region… our regions. Russian strikes were especially brutal in Donetsk region," the president said in an evening address to the nation.
Zelensky added that as a result of today's shelling, Ukrainian civilians were killed and wounded. The president expressed his condolences to all those who lost their relatives and friends.
The head of state emphasized that Russia must be held responsible for its terror.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, as a result of Russian shelling of Krasnohorivka, Donetsk region, a local man was killed and another was injured.
