Russians attack villages in Kupiansk district with aerial bombs on Sunday

On October 22, Russian troops shelled populated areas of Chuhuiv and Kupiansk districts of Kharkiv region.

Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, said this in a Facebook post, Ukrinform reports.

According to him, the enemy attacked the villages of Kurylivka and Kivsharivka of Kupiansk district with guided aerial bombs. In Kurylivka, a private house, two apartment buildings, a civilian enterprise building and an infrastructure facility were damaged. A 39-year-old woman was hospitalized with an injury.

In Kivsharivka, the buildings of a vocational school and a kindergarten were damaged, no casualties were reported.

An 81-year-old man was wounded in enemy shelling of the urban-type settlement of Dvorichna, Kupiansk district. He was hospitalized in moderate condition.

In addition, the enemy shelled Pletenivka and Zybine of Chuhuiv district, Petropavlivka, Kyslivka, Dvorichna of Kupiansk district and other settlements.

Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 15 enemy attacks in the areas of Synkivka and Ivanivka in Kupiansk district. The Russians are not advancing and are suffering significant losses, Syniehubov stressed.

As reported by Ukrinform, around 10:15 p.m. on October 21, the Russian army fired two S-300 missiles at the Nova Poshta terminal in Korotych, Kharkiv region. Six people were killed, 17 more were injured.
