Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Russian Federation has already fired more than 6,500 missiles and launched 3,500 drones at Ukraine.

President Volodymyr Zelensky stated this at a joint press conference with Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Since February 24, 2022, when the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation began, the aggressor has already used more than 6,500 missiles and more than 3,500 drones against Ukraine, including Iranian-made Shahed drones," Zelensky said.

The president emphasized that the majority of strikes were launched on civilian facilities, not military ones.

The Head of State thanked the Netherlands for missiles provided for air defense systems, stressing that the support for Ukraine in the field of air defense saves people's lives, entire cities and the entire country.

According to Zelensky, he also told Rutte about the situation on the battlefield, recalling yesterday's terrorist attack by Russia on Chernihiv city, where seven people were killed, including a child, and 148 more people were injured. Zelensky called on those present to imagine how many such strikes Russia has already launched on Ukraine.

As reported, President Volodymyr Zelensky and his wife Olena Zelenska arrived on a visit to the Netherlands on Sunday, following their visit to Sweden the day before.
