
Elderly woman injured in Russian shelling of Nikopol

A 74-year-old woman was injured as the enemy attacked Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region, on Saturday evening, August 19.
Serhii Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"In the evening, the enemy attacked Nikopol with heavy artillery. A 74-year-old woman was injured. She is in the hospital with a shrapnel wound," he wrote.
Five private houses, four farm buildings, and two power lines were damaged.
At night, there were no attacks in Dnipropetrovsk region.
