OCU shows church shelled by Russians in Kherson region

The Kherson Diocese of the OCU showed the church in the village of Dniprovske that was shelled by Russians.

The Kherson Diocese of the OCU posted the photos on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

"This morning, the Russians sent a festive greeting on the eve of the Transfiguration of the Lord. They seriously damaged the Church of the Ascension in the village of Dniprovske near Bilozerka with their enemy shelling," the statement reads.

As noted, this is not the first time that this church has been attacked by the enemy since the liberation of Kherson.

As reported, at night on August 18, the Russian military carried out a massive shelling of the villages of Bilozerka and Dniprovske in the Kherson region.

As a result of the shelling, a resident was injured, private houses, outbuildings, and a gas pipeline were damaged. In addition, the roof of a church caught fire.
