Invaders shell Zaporizhzhia region 114 times in past day, damage reported
Yuriy Malashko, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, said this in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.
“Over the course of a day, 19 peaceful towns and villages of Zaporizhzhia region came under 114 attacks," the post reads.
It is noted that 100 artillery shells were fired at Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Zaliznychne, Kamianske, Stepove, Piatykhatky and other villages along the front line.
The enemy used MLRS to launch nine attacks on Novodarivka, Chervone, Levadne, and Lobkove. Three airstrikes hit Orikhiv and Mala Tokmachka. Olhivske was attacked twice by UAVs.
Thirteen cases of damage to residential buildings and commercial buildings were reported, Malashko informed.
As reported, on the morning of Saturday, August 12, Russian forces drop a guided aerial bomb on Orikhiv, killing a law enforcement officer and injuring 12 more people.
