Overnight, Russians shell two border districts of Kharkiv region

Yesterday, on July 17, Russian troops fired mortars, cannon and rocket artillery at two border districts of the Kharkiv region.

Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"Yesterday, the enemy fired mortars, cannon and rocket artillery at the border and frontline settlements of the Chuhuiv and Kupyansk districts," he said.

The areas of Vovchansk, Karaichne, Budarok, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zakhidne, Kupyansk, Kyslivka and others were under enemy fire.

As a result of the shelling of Kupyansk with multiple rocket launchers, the premises of a business and two private houses were damaged. Two men aged 49 and 60 sustained light injuries and did not need hospitalization.

Syniehubov noted that demining is ongoing in the region. Over the past day, pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service examined about 12 hectares of territory and defused 143 explosive devices.

As reported, Russian invaders shelled the village of Kindrashivka, Kupyansk district, on July 17 at about 18:00.
