
Kharkiv mayor says city center hit by Russian missiles

Russian occupiers struck Ukraine's northeastern city of Kharkiv with missiles in the early hours of Sunday, July 16.
Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"According to preliminary information, missiles struck the central part of the city. One strike was recorded in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv and did not cause any damage. There is no information about casualties at the moment. As for the rest of the missile strikes, employees of the State Emergency Service are inspecting the area," the post said.
According to Terekhov, it is highly likely that Kharkiv was hit by S-300 missiles.
