Relatives of Lviv journalist killed in Russian missile attack

As a result of a nighttime Russian missile attack on Lviv, the mother and sister of a Lviv journalist were killed. Colleagues are calling for help for the family.

This was reported on his Facebook page by Lviv City Council deputy Ihor Zinkevych, according to Ukrinform.

"Last night, Anastasia Seniv and her mother, Myroslava Sadova, passed away. They are the family of our guard Volodymyr Sadovyi - his sister and mother! An enemy missile hit the house where the victims lived... My sincere condolences, Volodymyr... Uliana Sadova. We are grieving with you..." - Zinkevich wrote.

The city council member noted that he had worked side by side with Volodymyr Sadovyi at the varta1.com.ua media outlet and asked everyone to help financially the family of the journalist who had lost his family.

As reported, at night, Russians launched a missile attack on Lviv, hitting a critical infrastructure facility and a residential building. The attack destroyed the 3rd and 4th floors of a four-story residential building.

As of 11:00 a.m., the number of victims of the enemy missile attack in Lviv amounted to 37 people, four were killed, seven were rescued, and 64 people were evacuated. Two days of mourning have been declared in Lviv.

According to the Air Force, the enemy launched an attack from the Black Sea. Kalibr cruise missiles were launched from surface carriers and submarines. Several groups of missiles were spotted heading northward at first, using the terrain and the Dnipro riverbed, and then abruptly changed course to the west.

As a result of combat operations by anti-aircraft missile units and Air Force aviation, only seven of the 10 Kalibr missiles were destroyed.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that there would definitely be a response to the Russian missile attack on Lviv.
