Russian forces attack infrastructure sites in Lozova

Russian forces carried out a drone strike on the Lozova community on June 1, with the impact recorded near a gas station and a service station.

The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"According to the investigation, on June 1, at around 10:00, Russian armed forces struck the city of Lozova. As a result of the impact, a fire broke out near a gas station and a service station. No casualties were reported," the statement said.

Preliminary data indicates that Russian forces used a Geran-2 attack drone. A pre-trial investigation has been launched under Article 438(1) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (war crimes).

According to Lozova Mayor Serhii Zelenskyi, strikes were also recorded at other locations.

"Damage from Russian drones was recorded near a gas station, a service station, and other critical infrastructure sites. Rescuers quickly extinguished the fire," the mayor said.

Earlier, it was reported that Russian forces also struck a gas station in Kharkiv early on June 1, injuring a 37-year-old worker.
