Ukrainian forces continue offensive in three directions - General Staff

The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct offensive operations in the Melitopol, Berdiansk and Bakhmut directions.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"The Ukrainian soldiers are reinforcing the positions they reached, inflicting fire damage using artillery on identified enemy targets, conducting measures of a counter-battery fight. The Russian troops are putting up strong resistance. At the same time, the enemy is suffering significant losses in personnel, weapons and equipment," the report says.

The General Staff added that the Ukrainian forces are conducting offensive operations in the Bakhmut direction in the areas of Rozdolivka, north of Soledar, south of Paraskoviivka, in the areas of Zaliznianske, Berkhivka, Klishchiivka, and Kurdiumivka. Fierce battles are ongoing.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Russian forces continue to focus their main efforts on the Lyman, Bakhmut, and Marinka sectors. More than 30 combat clashes took place in the past day.
