
Russians shell 14 settlements in Chernihiv region last week

The Russian troops shelled 14 border settlements in Chernihiv region over the past week - 197 explosions were recorded.
Viacheslav Chaus, the head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"Over the past week, the enemy shelled 14 border settlements of the region 36 times, 197 explosions were recorded," Chaus wrote.
He noted that the enemy used aircraft six times and kamikaze drones two times. The Ukrainian Armed Forces shot down one enemy UAV over Chernihiv region.
According to Chaus, a local woman was killed in Russia’s shelling of Yanzhulivka village, Novhorod-Siverskyi district.
As Ukrinform reported, on June 18, Russian troops shelled seven border settlements of Chernihiv and Sumy regions with mortars and artillery, launching a total of 63 strikes.
