War update: 25 combat engagements in four areas of front in past day

This is stated in the morning report by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Over the past day, Ukraine’s Air Force launched six strikes on enemy personnel clusters. Missile and artillery units hit two enemy command posts, two artillery units on firing positions, and a radar station.

The enemy focuses its main efforts on Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka, and Maryinka directions, heavy battles are ongoing. Over the past day, 25 combat engagements took place.

In Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly.

On Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna directions, the enemy launched airstrikes on Bilopillia, Sumy region; Kolontayiv, Kharkiv region. The invaders fired mortars and artillery at Seredyna-Buda, Fotovyzh, Bilopillia, Oleksandrivka in Sumy region; Ivashky, Veterynarne, Strilecha, Ternova, Starytsia, Hatyshche, Vovchansk, Kruhle, Budarky, Buzove, Chuhunivka, Ambarne in Kharkiv region.

In Kupyansk direction, the enemy launched an airstrike near Berestove. Kamyanka, Fyholivka, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kyslivka, Tabayivka, Berestove in Kharkiv region; Novoselivske in Luhansk region came under artillery and mortar fire.

In Lyman direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the area of Bilohorivka. Airstrikes were launched on Nevske in Luhansk region; Ivanivka, Torske, Serebrianka in Donetsk region. Nevske, Novoselivske, Bilohorivka in Luhansk region; Yampolivka, Torske, Verkhniokamyanske, Spirne in Donetsk region were hit with artillery.

In Bakhmut direction, the enemy made an attempt to improve its tactical position, went on the offensive toward Ivanivske and Bila Hora, but was unsuccessful. Airstrikes were launched in the area of Toretsk. The areas of Rozdolivka, Vasiukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Ivanivske, Bila Hora, Druzhba, Toretsk, Zalizne, and Pivnichne in Donetsk region came under enemy artillery fire.

In Avdiyivka direction, the enemy carried out offensive operations near Avdiyivka, had no success. Airstrikes were launched near Avdiyivka and Nevelske. Orlivka, Avdiyivka, Sieverne, Pervomayske, Karlivka, Nevelske in Donetsk region came under artillery fire.

In Maryinka direction, the Ukrainian defenders repelled all enemy attacks in the area of Maryinka. At the same time, the enemy shelled Krasnohorivka, Hostre, Heorhiyivka, Maryinka, Pobieda, and Novomykhaylivka in Donetsk region with artillery.

In Shakhtarske direction, the enemy launched airstrikes in the areas of Zolota Nyva, Blahodatne, Velyka Novosilka, Neskuchne in Donetsk region. Vodiane and Vuhledar were struck.

In Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy holds the defense. The invaders launched airstrikes near Novoberyslav and Kozatske in Kherson region. Vremivka, Novosilka, Zelene Pole, Novopil in Donetsk region; Olhivske, Malynivka, Huliaypole, Zaliznychne, Huliaypilske, Bilohirya, Mali Shcherbaky, Stepove, Kamyanske in Zaporizhzhia region; Kherson; Ochakiv in Mykolayiv region came under artillery fire.

Over the past week in Bakhmut direction, the Russian invaders suffered significant losses. For example, more than 50 occupiers with serious injuries are delivered daily to a military hospital in the area of Persianivka settlement of Russia’s Rostov region. The hospital is overcrowded and has a high death rate among the seriously injured due to a lack of staff.
