Enemy fails to advance in four directions, suffers losses near Marinka

This is stated in the evening report by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published on Facebook.

"The enemy focuses its main efforts on attempts to fully occupy Luhansk and Donetsk regions. Twenty-seven combat engagements took place during the day," the report reads.

In Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly. No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected. Separate units of the Russian armed forces continue to be stationed at the training grounds of the Republic of Belarus.

In Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the areas bordering Ukraine. During the day, the enemy launched mortar and artillery attacks at Karpovychi, Leonivka, Hremyach in Chernihiv region; Khliborob, Sorokyne, Iskryskivshchyna, Yunakivka, Myropillia, Slavhorod, Velyka Pisarivka in Sumy region; more than 20 settlements in Kharkiv region, including Basove, Veterynarne, Vysoka Yaruha, Izbytske, Verkhnia Pysarivka, Hatyshche, Vovchansk, Bochkove, Budarky, Zemlianky.

In Kupyansk direction, Dvorichna, Masiutivka, Lyman Pershyi, Kyslivka, Tabayivka, Berestove in Kharkiv region; Novoselivske in Luhansk region came under artillery and mortar fire.

In Lyman direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the area of Bilohorivka. The invaders launched airstrikes on Nevske in the Luhansk region; Yampolivka, Dronivka, Siversk, Spirne in Donetsk region. Nevske, Bilohorivka in Luhansk region; Torske, Dibrova, Verkhniokamyanske, Spirne, Rozdolivka in Donetsk region came under artillery fire.

In Bakhmut direction, the enemy went on the offensive near Bohdanivka, had no success. The Russians launched airstrikes in the areas of Bila Hora and Toretsk in Donetsk region. Areas of Zvanivka, Nykyforivka, Vasiukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Novomarkove, Kalynivka, Ivanivske, Bila Hora, Druzhba, Toretsk, Pivnichne in Donetsk region came under artillery fire.

In Avdiyivka direction, the enemy made unsuccessful offensive attempts near Sieverne and Nevelske settlements. Airstrikes were launched on Vasylivka and Pervomayske areas. The areas of Novodonetske, Berdychi, Avdiyivka, Vodiane, Nevelske, Pervomayske settlements in Donetsk region were hit with artillery.

In Marinka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled all enemy attacks in the area of Marinka. The enemy suffered losses. At the same time, the enemy carried out artillery shelling in the areas of Heorhiyivka, Marinka, Ostrivske, Kurakhove, Dachne, Pobieda, Novomykhaylivka, Katerynivka in Donetsk region.

In Shakhtarske direction, the enemy launched airstrikes near Velyka Novosilka and Blahodatne in Donetsk region. Vuhledar, Shakhtarske, Novoukrainka, Zolota Nyva, Neskuchne in Donetsk region were struck.

In Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy continues to hold the defense. The Russians launched airstrikes near Novosilka in Donetsk region; Olhivske, Huliaypole, Stepove in Zaporizhzhia region. Artillery was fired on more than 30 settlements, including Burlatske, Zelene Pole, Novosilka, Novopil, Temyrivka in Donetsk region; Olhivske, Huliaypole, Zaliznychne, Bilohirya, Kamyanske in Zaporizhzhia region; the city of Kherson.

In Arapivka, Luhansk region, about 90 Russian servicemen deserted.

During the day, Ukraine’s Air Force launched 16 strikes on enemy personnel clusters and two strikes on enemy anti-aircraft missile systems.

Missile and artillery units hit four enemy command posts, six personnel, weapons and military equipment clusters, three ammunition depots, and 5 artillery units on firing positions.

During the day, the enemy launched eight missile attacks on civilian houses in the town of Zviahel, Zhytomyr region, and on the outskirts of Kharkiv city. In addition, the Russians launched 58 airstrikes and fired 31 MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated settlements.
