The Russians intensified their actions in the Novoselivske area of Svatove district in Luhansk region, but had no success.

Artem Lysohor, the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, said this in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.

"Today, the Russians became more active in the Novoselivske area of Svatove district, but thanks to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy was forced to retreat. Throughout the current day, the enemy launched 111 attacks on Luhansk region. In total, more than 400 projectiles were fired at the positions of our military and homes of Ukrainian citizens," the regional governor said.

He added that up to six Russian special “Storm Z” units were relocated to the Luhansk sector of the front.

"These are mostly former criminals - a new fun of the Russian Ministry of Defense. After the Wagner units left their positions at the front, now the Russian military is engaged in their recruitment," the regional governor wrote.

He clarified the previous reports that the occupiers were taking documents from Kreminna. According to Lysohor, the same actions have been recorded in other settlements. These are mostly documents of passport agencies.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Russian invading forces are taking documents from the frontline city of Kreminna to the more "calm" city of Luhansk.
