German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius emphasized the need to continue military support to Ukraine for defense against Russian aggression.

He made this statement in an interview with Augsburger Allgemeinen, as reported by a correspondent from Ukrinform.

"Those who call for an end to arms supplies to Ukraine today are abandoning Ukraine to its fate. Halting arms supplies today would mean the end of Ukraine tomorrow," said the German politician.

He emphasized the need to help Ukraine "with everything we can."

At the same time, the minister reiterated that Germany does not have any fighter jets that it could transfer to Ukraine.
