Civilian killed as Russian forces shell Bilozerka community

On the morning of April 29, Russian forces shelled a settlement in Bilozerka community, Kherson region. One person was killed.

According to the Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office, under the procedural leadership of the Oleshky district prosecutor's office, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated as part of criminal proceedings over the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, on April 29, around 10:00, the Russian army launched another attack on a settlement in Bilozerka community, Kherson region. A man was killed in the shelling. A woman was injured and hospitalized.

Private houses were damaged.

According to preliminary information, the enemy attacked the village using multiple launch rocket systems.

Priority measures are being taken to record information about the crime committed by the Russian army.

Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, also reported about the aftermath of Russia’s shelling of Bilozerka.

"The hospital and about 30 houses were damaged. A 57-year-old woman died under the rubble, and three more people were injured," added Prokudin.

As reported by Ukrinform, on April 28, the Russian army attacked Kherson region 33 times, killing a civilian.
