Seven children were returned to the Kherson region after being forcibly taken to occupied Yevpatoria by Russian invaders.

The Kherson Regional Military Administration (RMA) reported this on Telegram, Ukrinform says.

"Seven children from the Kherson region, who had been separated from their families for almost six months, have finally arrived in their land liberated from the enemy," the statement reads.

As noted in the post, back in October 2022, Russian invaders forcibly sent young Ukrainians to Yevpatoria, allegedly for "rehabilitation" in a children's camp.

According to the RMA, the children were returned thanks to the efforts of volunteers from the Save Ukraine Charitable Foundation.

The RMA's Head Oleksandr Prokudin welcomed the children back home.

As Ukrinform reported, on March 23, two Ukrainian children were returned from the temporarily occupied territory. In total, 10,597 children have been found in Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale war.
