The invaders have intensified launches of unmanned aerial vehicles, which suggest they are collecting reconnaissance data, likely in preparation for another strike at Ukraine.

This was stated by the spokesperson for Operational Command South, Natalia Humeniuk, who spoke on the air of the national telethon, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"The enemy is gathering maximum information, having intensified launches of unmanned aerial reconnaissance vehicles, which we are quite effectively shooting down. But we see that more and more of them are flying in from the Black Sea, toward Mykolayiv and Odesa region," Humeniuk said.

She noted that the enemy gravitates to certain dates, and February is a symbolic month for them, so the Russian forces "quite possibly could be preparing another strike": "Today's air raid alert, which went off throughout the territory of Ukraine due to the takeoff of reconnaissance aircraft, confirms this. Information is being gathered and as they prepare."

According to Humeniuk, there is currently a storm on the Black Sea, and the enemy's nine-warship grouping is taking shelter at their bases. There is not a single missile carrier among them.

At the same time, she emphasized that the situation could change at any moment, and Ukrainian forces are monitoring the actions of the enemy forces.

"The air defense system, which is the main shield in the event of a massive missile strike, is on round-the-clock duty. We are monitoring the enemy’s behavior, in particular regarding the presence of missile carriers and their coordination with their aircraft," the spokeswoman said.
