The situation in the southern operational zone remains complex and dynamic but Ukraine’s Armed Forces retain control of the developments.

That’s according to Operational Command South, Ukrinform reports.

"Our troops are holding ground and inflicting fire damage on the enemy in order to create conditions for further offensive operations. No significant changes in the condition, composition, and position of enemy troops were observed over the past day," the report reads.

Instead, the enemy continues to run an active defensive operation, trying to hold the occupied lines and exert a fire influence on our troops, employing its air force, jet and barrel artillery, mortars, and tanks to attack Ukrainian positions and adjacent territorial communities.
