Ukrainian forces perform 220 fire missions in south on Oct 21

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Operational Command South on Facebook.

"The enemy is conducting defensive actions and is trying to hold the captured positions. The enemy continues to use all available weapons, aviation and kamikaze drones, as well as reconnaissance drones against the positions of our troops, communities adjacent to the front line, and rear areas," the report reads.

The enemy attacked recently liberated Beryslav district on the right bank of the Dnipro River, deploying a Shared-136 kamikaze drone in Shevchenkivka and S-300 anti-aircraft missile system to shell Novovoskresenske. No casualties were reported.

Anti-aircraft gunners also shot down an enemy Orlan-10 reconnaissance drone.

The Ukrainian aviation launched 10 strikes, hitting enemy strongholds and weapons clusters in the Beryslav and Bashtanka districts, and the positions of the enemy's air defense systems in the Kakhovka district.

The Ukrainian missile and artillery units performed 220 fire missions. Enemy losses include 17 invaders, a Grad MLRS, a tank, a mortar, three units of armored vehicles and three ammunition depots in the Beryslav district.

Six more enemy armored vehicles and two mortars were damaged.

The final losses of the enemy are being specified.
