Russian troops continue shelling Kharkiv and the districts of the Kharkiv region, killing four people and injuring ten others in the past day.

Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, said this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Tonight, the enemy intensively launched rocket attacks from MLRS on Kharkiv and the region. Some of the missiles 'self-destructed' in the Russian Federation. In Kharkiv, as a result of Russian terror, a fire broke out and a three-story administrative building was destroyed in the Saltivsky district. A 53-year-old woman was injured after a strike on the Kyivsky district," the report said.

Over the past 24 hours, the invaders shelled the Izium, Kharkiv, Chuhuiv and Bohoduhiv districts.

"At night, the enemy carried out intensive attacks on the Kharkiv district, with one rocket hitting the ground near private houses, damaging windows. In the morning, medics hospitalized a man in the Derhachi community, where the occupiers also continue to terrorize the civilian population. The Chuhuiv district also came under active shelling by the Russians. Unfortunately, a 60-year-old woman was killed in Chuhuiv. Private houses, an educational and sports center, and outbuildings were damaged," Syniehubov said.

In total, doctors hospitalized ten people in the past day, including eight in Kharkiv, one in the Lozova district, and one in the Chuhuiv district. Four people were killed in the past day (two in Kharkiv, one in the Chuhuiv district, and one in the Izium district).

"Our troops are repelling offensive operations of the Russian occupation army, including outside the settlements of Udy, Kostiantynivka, Virnopillia, Ploske and Kamianka. The Russian army is demoralized. While retreating, it is trying to evacuate the wounded and damaged equipment," Syniehubov said.
