Last night Russian troops opened fire on Kharkiv Region’s Zmiiv community. Casualties among civilians were reported.

The relevant statement was made by Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Head Oleh Syniehubov on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

According to Syniehubov, last night the Defense Headquarters recorded missiles fired from the territory of the Russian Federation.

“Around 01:00 a.m., Russians struck the Zmiiv community. Three civilians were injured: a man, 27, and two women, 38 and 74,” Syniehubov wrote.

In his words, adjacent houses and cars were damaged. One of missiles hit the area of a critical infrastructure facility.

After 06:00 p.m., August 13, 2022, Russian occupiers shelled civilian infrastructure in Kharkiv’s Kyivskyi District with incendiary munitions. The roofs of household buildings were on fire. No casualties were reported.

Over the past day, the following districts have come under enemy fire: Bohodukhiv, Chuhuiv and Kharkiv. Russians repeatedly shelled the village of Tsyrkuny, causing fires in houses, garages and household buildings.

While Russians are causing terror against civilians, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are repulsing enemy attacks all over the front line, Syniehubov stressed. Near Pytomnyk, Russian troops attempted to conduct reconnaissance in fighting but failed.
