Forty-four strikes on Donetsk region recorded in past day

Forty-four Russian strikes on Donetsk region were recorded over the past day. The regional police document the crimes of the Russian troops against the civilian population.

"The occupiers hit residential buildings, a school in the town of Zalizne, the territory of factories in Avdiivka, the Karlivka filtration station, and the area near the reservoir. Civilians were killed and injured. The army of the Russian Federation shelled the residential quarters from aviation (unguided rockets), S-300 missile system, and multiple rocket launchers," the press service of the National Police of Ukraine posted on Facebook.

According to the National Police of Ukraine, Avdiivka suffered the most strikes – 17. Bakhmut, Toretsk, Soledar, Zalizne, New York, Pivdenne, Pivnichne, Hirnyk, Karlivka, Krasnohorivka, Memryk, Illinivka, Fedorivka, Kostiantynivka, Komyshuvakha also came under fire.

It is noted that the Russians killed civilians in Avdiivka, New York, Bakhmut, and Soledar. People died in their homes.

"In Toretsk alone, 12 houses were destroyed and damaged in Russian shelling over the past day. The residents of Donetsk region have been left without water due to the damage to the filtration station," the police said.

The National Police and the Security Service of Ukraine opened criminal proceedings under Art. 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Pavlo Kyrylenko, Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, informed that the Russians killed five civilians and injured eight more in Donetsk region on July 27.
