In Ukraine, 115 children already killed by Russian invaders

Russian troops have killed 115 Ukrainian children since the launch of the invasion.

The Prosecutor General's Office delivered the update on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

As a result of armed Russian aggression, 115 children have died in Ukraine and more than 140 were injured.

Most victims were reported in Kyiv region (58), as well as 36 in Kharkiv region, 29 in Donetsk region, 30 in Chernihiv region, 22 in Mykolaiv region, 15 in Zhytomyr region, 14 in Sumy region, and 14 in Kherson region.

Because of Russian shelling in Rubizhne, Luhansk region, on March 19, a household was destroyed. Rescuers got two children out of the rubble and performed a heart-lung resuscitation but with no result. Children did not survive the attack.

Another child and mother were found under the rubble. The woman died but her daughter was rescued. Her condition is stable and remains satisfactory.

On March 19, a boy, 9, was killed in enemy shelling of Kharkiv.

Due to regular bombardments and shelling of civilian infrastructure and residential areas by the Russian forces, 489 educational institutions were damaged and 69 of them – completely destroyed.

These data are not conclusive, as it is impossible to inspect the sites of shelling in areas where active hostilities are ongoing, as well as in the temporarily occupied territories.
