Russian invasion update: Anti-aircraft defense systems prevent 3-4 air strikes on Kyiv at night

On the night of March 3, 2022, three-four explosions could be heard in the city of Kyiv.

According to the preliminary data, these were aerial objects neutralized by anti-aircraft defense systems.

The relevant statement was made on Telegram by the Armed Forces of Ukraine Operative, referring to the Ukrainian State Emergency Service.

“When monitoring the data from online sources, we found out that, on the night of March 3, 2022, several explosions (three-four) were heard in Kyiv. The Ukrainian State Emergency Service received no reports from people. According to the preliminary data, aerial objects were neutralized by anti-aircraft defense systems,” the report states.

The data on the number and place of explosions are yet to be reported. Emergency crews were not involved.

A reminder that, on February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin initiated a large-scale invasion of Ukraine, starting a war. Russian troops are shelling and destroying the key infrastructure facilities, massively firing on housing sectors across Ukrainian cities and villages.
