A new round of talks between the Ukrainian and Russian delegations will take place, but not in the Belovezhskaya Pushcha area.

According to Ukrinform, the head of the Servant of the People faction, David Arakhamia, announced this on Facebook.

"Information about the talks in Belovezhskaya Pushcha is not true. Negotiations will indeed take place, but the venue is different," the statement reads.

Arakhamia promised to disclose all the details later.

Earlier, media reports said that the second round of talks between Russia and Ukraine on Russian aggression on Ukrainian soil is to take place in Belovezhskaya Pushcha, Belarus.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on February 27 that he had a phone call with Lukashenko. After the call, it was agreed that the Ukrainian delegation will meet with the Russian delegation without any preconditions on the Ukrainian-Belarusian border near the Prypiat River.

The Ukrainian delegation included David Arakhamia, head of the Servant of the People faction, Oleksii Reznikov, Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Mykhailo Podoliak, an advisor to the head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Kostin, first deputy head of the Ukrainian Delegation to the Trilateral Contact Group, MP Rustem Umerov, and Ukraine's Deputy Foreign Minister Mykola Tochytskyi.
