Zelensky, Kazakhstan’s president discuss humanitarian issues

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has discussed the security situation with President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

According to Ukrinform, Zelensky wrote this on his Twitter account.

“Conversation with President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has just ended. The difficult security situation in the region was discussed. We agreed to cooperate in humanitarian issues. We keep in touch,” Zelensky wrote.

Earlier, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev had a phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Prior to that, at a meeting of the ruling party, Tokayev called on Ukraine and Russia to negotiate and offered mediation if necessary.

As reported, on February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared war on Ukraine and launched a large-scale invasion.
