Since the start of the day, a total of 111 clashes between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and the Russian troops have occurred, with the most intense fighting taking place in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove sectors.
On January 7, a total of 176 combat clashes occurred between Ukraine's Defense Forces and the Russian troops on the frontline, with the most intense fighting taking place in the Pokrovsk and Kursk sectors of the front.
