Svitolina climbs to fourth place in WTA ranking

Ukraine’s No.1 tennis player Elina Svitolina climbed one position to the fourth spot in the ranking of the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) updated on February 3.
Svitolina is ahead of Naomi Osaka from Japan, who failed to defend her champion’s tittle at Australian Open, according to Ukrinform.
Dayana Yastremska dropped five positions to the 26th spot, and Kateryna Kozlova fell four positions to the 87th spot. Katarina Zavatska came closer to the Top 100 of the WTA rating, climbing four positions to the 103rd spot.
WTA ranking is headed by Ashleigh Barty from Australia. She is followed by Simona Halep from Romania. Karolina Pliskova from the Czech Republic is the third.
