Ukraine faces black ice and fog as temperatures fall to -20°C

On Monday, January 19, no precipitation is forecast in Ukraine, with icy roads in some places and fog in others.

This was reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

“Variable cloudiness. No precipitation, only light snow in Crimea. In most western, northern, and Vinnytsia regions, there will be fog in some places at night and in the morning. Roads will be slippery in some places,” the report says.

It is noted that the wind will be variable, 3-8 m/s.

The temperature at night will be 15-20°, during the day 8-13° below zero; in the south and southeast of the country, the temperature at night will be 8-13° below zero, during the day 5-10° below zero.

In Kyiv and the region, variable cloudiness is expected tomorrow. No precipitation. At night and in the morning, fog in some parts of the region. Icy roads in some places. The wind will be northeast, 3-8 m/s.

In the capital, the temperature at night will be 15-17° below zero, during the day 10-12° below zero; in the Kyiv region, at night 15-20° below zero, during the day 8-13° below zero.
