Government dismisses Language Ombudsman Kremin
The announcement was made by the Government’s Permanent Representative to the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk, on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
In related personnel decisions, the government also dismissed Hryhoriy Ishchenko as head of the State Agency of Ukraine for the Management of the Exclusion Zone, Mykola Kravchuk as first deputy head of the State Service for Maritime and Inland Water Transport and Shipping.
The government also approved new appointments. Mykola Kravchuk was appointed as head of the State Service for Maritime and Inland Water Transport and Shipping, Natalia Kichuk as deputy head of the State Agency for Reserve Management of Ukraine, and Olha Polotska as Executive Director of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine
In addition, Natalia Kichuk was temporarily assigned the duties of Head of the State Agency for Reserve Management, and Volodymyr Feshchenko was appointed acting head of the State Agency for the Management of the Exclusion Zone.
As previously reported, Taras Kremin was appointed Commissioner for the Protection of the State Language by the Cabinet of Ministers on July 8, 2020, for a five-year term set to expire on July 8, 2025.
