On the left bank of the river, the occupiers promise to evacuate people from the flooded village of Pishchanivka, but residents of the Oleshky community who are trying to leave on their own because of the Russians' blowing up of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant are not allowed to leave.

Mayor of Oleshky Yevhen Ryshchuk said this in a conversation with an Ukrinform correspondent, Ukrinform reports.

"The situation is as of 13 o'clock. The water is rising - there is flooding, if an hour and a half or two ago there was almost no water in the city of Oleshky, and now several streets are already flooded... there is flooding - not high, but there is," Ryshchuk said.

He also said that the village of Krynky is flooded, in the village of Kozachi Lageri the situation is "more or less", the village of Pidstepne is fine, it is far from the water. The village of Pravi Solontsi is partially flooded, there is no major flooding. The villages of Pravi Sagy and Livi Sagy are not yet flooded, but, as the mayor emphasized, the forests near these villages are burning.

Ryshchuk reported on the situation in the village of Pishchanivka, where the bus stop is almost flooded, with only the roof visible. Residents note that the occupation authorities promise to provide buses for evacuation. "It's a question whether they will take us out or not. But they provide such information," Ryshchuk said.
