СОVID-19 quarantine extended in Ukraine till year-end

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine extends the quarantine and the emergency situation regime to prevent the spread of COVID-19 until December 31, 2022.

The relevant amendments were made to order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated March 25, 2020, No. 338.

"Quarantine has been extended until December 31, 2022, throughout the entire territory of Ukraine," Taras Melnychuk, Permanent Representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine posted on Telegram.

As reported, the quarantine to combat the spread of COVID-19 was introduced in Ukraine on March 12, 2020. It was repeatedly extended and was shifted to the form of adaptive quarantine in the summer of 2021. In May, the Government extended the quarantine throughout the country until August 31, 2022.
